About Spec-West

In January 1991, my dad Bob and I set out to construct Spec-West. We wanted to build our company much like a concrete foundation with strong, solid family underpinnings and guided by values like integrity, humility and initiative. Over these last 25 years we’ve had triumphs and challenges. We’ve received accolades and been humbled. But as the business world has changed and we’ve evolved, the one thing that has not changed is our vision for our success.

Our mission: To be much more than a “me-too” supply house, to be an unmatched concrete resource for our customers and a true partner to our manufacturers. All this we do in an environment of family and fun for our Stakeholders.

We believe these principals manifest in our attitude, our responsiveness and our absolute commitment to doing whatever it takes for our customers, our manufacturers and each other. We do what we say we’ll do 100% of the time.
These simple words and the Golden Rule drive our every move.

We realized back in 1991 that ultimately we were in the people business. Thank you for the opportunity to prove it.
